The Ballots have once again been cast by the Mid America Green Industry Council for The Kansas Missouri Area 2005 Landscapes Of Distinction Awards and we are very excited and proud to have received awards on the following projects.

The Knight ProJect

Our clients had several objectives in mind for their project: First, the walk out pit needed to be expanded and the deck redone and expanded to allow for all weather outdoor play and to accomplish a less cluttered view of the pit. Second, the huge drainage swale needed to be dressed up. Third, the client wanted a pondless water feature near a seating area away from the house. Finally, they wanted a nicer patio near the pit to allow for a seating area. All this needed to be dressed up with wonderful landscaping. Click here to learn more…

The Philips Project

Client needed additional seating for entertaining and desired a place to relax after a hard days work. Existing lower deck space was small and not very user friendly. Small cement patio was below that and not large enough either. Wood deck and cement patio were removed and a larger cement seating area with a brick paver band was installed with a cement step coming out of the house. Existing wood stairs were rebuilt to accommodate new seating area. A Pondless water feature along with night lighting was then installed to add beauty and tranquility to the area.
