Lawn Program
TenderCare's Lawn Program provides 6 applications. these applications are designed to give your lawn the nutrients and weed controls needed to provide the best performance possible for your turf type and weather conditions.
Early Spring - Crabgrass pre-emergent, broadleaf week control and fertilizer to promote early spring green-up and root growth.
Spring - Another application of pre-emergent for extended crabgrass control through the summer, broadleaf weed control and extra nutrients for a fuller, healthier, greener lawn.
Summer - A slow release fertilizer with nutrients to give your lawn extended feeding for the summer months. We will also take care of any summer weeds that may be present in your turf.
Late Summer - this visit will include fertilizer to thicken turf and promote root growth. Weed problems will also be treated.
Fall - Fertilizer to prepare lawns for winter. Broadleaf week control for weeds that come up in the fall including: Dandelions, Henbit and Chickweed.
Winter - Cool season turf will receive a fertilizer that is high in nitrogen for winter hardiness and early spring green-up. Warm season lawns will receive weed control for the winter annual weeds that can invade dormant turf.
Optional Services
Grubworm Control - Untreated Grubworms in the summer can cause serious damage.
Core Aeration - Improves root growth, increases air and water movement. Excellent time to broadcast seed after lawn is aerated.
