Pros in Excellence Awards Presented at GIE+EXPO 2008

Fort Atkinson, WI (October 30, 2008) — The three winners of the second annual Pros in Excellence Awards were announced October 24 in a special ceremony at the GIE+EXPO in Louisville, Ky., the landscape industry's premier event. The awards are sponsored by PRO Magazine, Ariens Company, STIHL Inc. and GIE+EXPO.

This year's winners were:

  • Robbins Landscaping in Richmond, Va.
  • TenderCare Lawn & Landscape in Derby, Kan.
  • WAC Corporation in Greenville, N.C.

"The awards are designed to recognize three of the industry’s top landscape contractors who achieve the highest level of service and professionalism," said Gregg Wartgow, editor-in-chief of PRO Magazine. "The three winning landscapers were selected by an independent panel of industry experts, who judged each of the 11 finalists in a variety of areas: services offered, business growth and profitability, production systems, marketing and customer service."
